Hong Kong Squeezed-In Trip Day 3 - Guest Blogged by 浪迹天涯小狗

In the seat of Astrocar with Mistress on the wheels.

Today, we're going Disneyland again!~ Yayy~~

Mistress slacked in bed till 9am despite the din from the traffic downstairs. Left the hotel at 10 and tried walking to Sheung Wan MTR (its located at some ulu entrance which is rather difficult to find, more so for this directionally-challenged human). Gave up after getting lost in some seafood street and took a cab instead.

Seafood street

Met up with the rest and went 翠华餐厅 again for lunch. Nice food they have although the one Mistress ordered was rather fatty and salty.

This looks familiar..

Took the MTR to Disneyland. Quite a distance away, but with HK's fast and efficient MTR, no complaints!

Surfing Mickey

And bcos Mistress did not have much expectations for HK Disneyland after been to Tokyo Disneyland not so long ago, it was rather ok for the admission price.

Think it was less than SGD 50. Weekday, non-peak.

The castle

Tomorrowland

Went for the Astrocar thingy, thinking that it was something like go-kart.

Terribly wrong. The routes are GUIDED!! Means no overtaking. BORING!!~

Astrocars

Violent steering wheel.

Went for Space Traders next. Nice simulation roller coaster ride. This is more fun.

Buzz Lightyear

Watched the parade as usual.

Walking towards some jungle part of Disneyland, we decided to go for the Jungle River Cruise.

And then its some 3D show which the effects I either saw at Tokyo Disneyland or Universal Studios.

They distributed some kind of glasses at the gates.

So this is what its for.

Played the teacup next. Horrible spinning effect which persisted long after we stopped. @.@

Caught the end of the parade while we were looking around for a restaurant for dinner.

After dinner, we went to chope our place to view the fireworks. Waited for like one hour.

OMG Disneyland on Fire!~

Ending finale

Seriously, the fireworks is probably the only item that beats Tokyo Disneyland. But bcos there's a theme for this display while the one I watched at Tokyo was their regular closing "ceremony", probably cant compare laterally. We were too close to the castle and couldnt capture the full view of the fireworks on camera. A bit wasted, but the whole show was darn good.

So we took the MTR back and went 庙街 for supper at 许留山 (yes. again.). Bird Nest Hashmir stewed egg white. Not superly nice and the egg white gets sickening after a while.

There were rows and rows of fortune tellers at the nite market. Wandered around for a while before retiring back to the hotel to pack up.
